Rules

Discipline protects every serious learner.

The rules are firm, fair, and designed to protect silence, books, equipment, and respect inside the library.

Library Conduct

Simple rules for a peaceful study environment.

Membership may be suspended or cancelled for repeated rule-breaking.

  1. Maintain silence and discipline inside the library.
  2. Respect other students, readers, staff, books, furniture, and equipment.
  3. Use books carefully and return them to the proper place or to the person in charge.
  4. Do not damage books, notes, furniture, computers, or any property.
  5. Mobile phones must be kept silent.
  6. No loud talking, disturbance, fighting, abusive language, or disrespectful behavior.
  7. Group study is allowed only if it does not disturb others.
  8. Computer systems must be used only for learning, study, coding, research, or approved work.
  9. Do not access harmful, illegal, immoral, or distracting content on library systems.
  10. Keep the space clean.
  11. Food may be restricted inside the study area.
  12. Follow session timings and seat rules.
  13. Membership may be suspended or cancelled for repeated rule-breaking.

Verbal warning.

Written warning or temporary restriction.

Third mistake

Membership suspension or permanent ban, depending on seriousness. Serious misconduct may lead to immediate removal.

Group Study Rules

Groups are welcome when they help learning.

Management decision will be final in discipline matters.

  1. Group study is allowed only when it helps learning and does not disturb others.
  2. Speak softly.
  3. Do not occupy more seats than allowed.
  4. Do not disturb individual readers.
  5. Group discussion must remain study-related.
  6. One person from the group may be treated as group leader for responsibility.
  7. If a group causes disturbance, the group may be warned, separated, or removed.
  8. Repeated disturbance may lead to cancellation of group access.
Suggested limits: Reading groups should remain small enough to avoid disturbing other readers. Any computer-based group requires prior confirmation because no permanent systems are currently installed.
