Terms of Service framework.

These draft terms describe the intended rules for the public website and future library application.

Information only.

The current public website explains Nagyan Library's location, hours, services, plans, rules, and roadmap. It does not create an account, reserve a seat, accept a payment, issue a receipt, or guarantee service availability.

Visitors should contact the library directly before travelling if seat availability or computer access matters.

Library access is subject to registration and conduct.

People of different ages may join, subject to the applicable registration process, capacity, safety requirements, and library approval. A guardian must participate where required for a minor.

Pending applicants may receive limited account access in the future application, but bookings, borrowing, and paid services remain blocked until approval.

Services depend on the current branch's capacity.

  • The current branch has six reader seats and operates first-come-first-served.
  • A separate one-time registration fee applies before a Daily Pass or monthly membership.
  • Computer access requires advance confirmation because no permanent systems are installed.
  • Extended Membership is not currently available.
  • Prices, hours, and services may change after clear public notice and operational approval.

Online transactions are not active.

Do not send payment or credentials through this static website. Until secure systems and policies are approved, registration and payment must be confirmed directly with the library.

The future application must verify payment on the server, issue appropriate receipts, keep audit records, and apply the published cancellation and refund policy.

Members must protect the learning environment.

Members and visitors must follow the library rules, maintain discipline, respect others, use property carefully, and use any computer access only for approved learning or work.

Serious or repeated misconduct may result in warnings, restrictions, suspension, removal, or cancellation of access, subject to review appropriate to the circumstances.

Borrowing requires staff approval.

The initial book system permits one book at a time for seven days, subject to staff approval and availability. Members are responsible for returning books and library property in acceptable condition.

Minor repairable damage may attract a Rs. 100 charge. Major damage or loss may require actual repair or replacement cost after Owner review.

Do not misuse the website or future application.

Users must not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, impersonate another person, upload harmful material, abuse support channels, or use the platform for illegal or unrelated entertainment content.

Public information will be kept realistic.

Nagyan Library aims to publish accurate current information, but availability may change because of capacity, maintenance, safety, holidays, or operational needs. Material changes should be communicated through the website or direct notice where practical.

Raise concerns with the library first.

General questions may be sent using the Contact page. The available landline is +91 132 3568785.

The final terms must designate a dedicated company mobile number, domain-based grievance email, responsible officer, grievance process, effective date, applicable jurisdiction wording, and escalation route after legal review.
